What we do: AltaRock Energy, Inc. is a full-service geothermal energy technology and services company. Our Mission is to advance the state of geothermal energy technology in the US and abroad while maximizing the return on investment (ROI) on new and existing geothermal sites. We provide consulting, management and field services throughout the exploration, development and operations phases at commercial geothermal power generation sites. How long we’ve been around: We were founded in 2007 by Susan Petty, who continues to serve the company as President and Chief Technology Officer.

Our Technology: AltaRock Energy, Inc. holds a portfolio of patents and exclusive licenses to related intellectual property for a suite of Enhanced Geothermal System (EGS) technologies including Thermally-degradable Zonal Isolation Materials (TZIMs) used in EGS reservoir stimulation. AltaRock’s biodegradable TZIMs are proven to significantly reduce risk and cost associated with multiple-zone EGS reservoir stimulation in hot dry wells and existing steam systems.
